Testing the Mountain Hardware Conduit SL Bivy

So Saturday night I snow shoed (6.2 round trip) miles to bivy at Mead pond just north of RT374 to do some testing of this new bizy sack.

Conditions
Heavy wet snow
Temps 25F
Wind chill 18F
Sleeping bag Moonstone synthetic hollow fill –35F

Strong Points
Keeps the user dry
Weight 1.2 Ibs
Easy to Set up
Very pack able

Weak Points
Not big enough for use with a winter bag
Lacks a hoop around users head.

Over all I like the bag I’ll deal with the fact of it being a bit small for my sleeping bag.
